About

Hey, I’m Jel

I’m a mum of two boys who are absolutely obsessed with trucks and we are regular Truck Show attendees. You may have noticed me from tiktok where I document and make vlogs of our days at a truck show, which has also grown into creating my online Truck Events Calendar for Australia and New Zealand (you can find that link here). But what we found that was always missing at shows, was truck merch that was small enough for my boys.

One year at Casino Truck show, my son recognised his dads truck printed on the back of a tee. He was so excited and asked me to get him one - unfortunately the stall only sold adult shirts. Devastated and empty-handed, I promised my son I would make him a shirt with his dads truck printed on the back. I got a design drawn up, fell in love with it, and when I went to order my singular child’s size 2 tee it dawned on me that these smaller sizes are missing as a whole. We’ve been struggling with this dilemma since the boys left the womb, as trucking has been part of who they are and in their blood for 3 generations. Why aren’t there sizes for the tiny trucker kids?

That’s how Kamion Kulture came about! The name itself, comes from my heritage - my full first name is Jelena, which is Croatian - and in my native tongue, “kamion” translates to truck. This translates our name to “truck culture”, which is what we stand for, as we’re part of the trucking community. Our goal is to have each member of the trucking community (even the bubs) to feel connected through our designs with matching pieces for the whole crew. We’re built for trucking families and the whole trucking community!

All our designs, sewing and patterns are all handcrafted by humans and filled with love. With a world being overrun by AI and lack of human touch, we’re keepin it original like a well looked after heritage truck.

If you’ve made it this far, you’re probably used to long hauls and radio chitchat, which means you’re in the right place. We hope you love our range and can’t wait to see you at a show soon!

All my love,
Jel
